How to Get Here
We're on a historic property that was once part of the Conforzi Tea Estate in Thyolo — approximately 20 minutes from Limbe, just off the main Thyolo road.
Heading to Mulanje? Stay with us. We're a hundred-year-old boutique guest house and restaurant just off the main Thyolo road — twenty minutes from Limbe, a short drive from the mountain. The treks and day trips themselves are handled by independent operators in Malawi (Trek Mulanje, Mulanje Mountain Guides, InfoMulanje, MMCT); book them directly.
What we do handle: the room you want after a long day on the mountain, the meal you'll still be talking about a year later, the garden and pool and quiet. Come to us for that.
Directions from Blantyre / Limbe
- 1 Drive to Limbe and take the Thyolo road turnoff
- 2 Drive towards Thyolo past Chigumula and 12 Miles (petrol station)
- 3 Continue to Namingomba until the second turnoff
- 4 Directly opposite the second Namingomba Tea Country sign, look for the large Conforzi Plantations white and green sign with palm trees on the left
- 5 Take that turn and stay to the right — follow the Thyolo House signs to the guest house
